Qatar ExxonMobil Open
The Qatar Open is played outdoor on hard courts. It’s an ATP 250 tournament, and a great warm-up for the first Grand Slam event of the season – the Australian Open.
Andy has won the tournament twice, in 2008 and 2009.

The Australian Open is the first Grand Slam of the year.
Played on hard courts, it’s a big test for the world's top players – especially coming so early in the season.
Previous men’s singles winners include Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal and Stan Wawrinka.
Andy has reached the final of the Australian Open five times, most recently in 2016.

ABN Amro World Tennis Tournament
Formerly known as the Rotterdam Open, The ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament is part of the ATP World Tour 500 Series.
Andy won the tournament in 2009, beating Rafael Nadal 6-3, 4-6, 6-0.

Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships
The Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships is an outdoor, hard court tournament held annually in the United Arab Emirates.
Andy was a finalist in 2012, losing to Roger Federer.

BNP Paribas Open
Formerly known as the Indian Wells Open, The BNP Paribas Open is the best-attended tennis tournament outside the Grand Slams. It’s played on hard courts and is part of the ATP World Tour Masters 1000.
Andy was a finalist in 2009, when he was runner up to Rafael Nadal.

The Miami Open is part of the ATP World Tour Masters 1000 and one of the largest non-Grand Slam tournaments in the tennis calendar.
It is located on picturesque Key Biscayne, where Andy does most of his off-season training.
Andy has won the tournament twice – in 2009 and 2013.

Monte Carlo Rolex Masters
Played on clay courts, the Monte Carlo Rolex Masters is part of the ATP World Tour Masters 1000 and is one of the most prestigious and picturesque tournaments on the ATP calendar.
In recent years Rafael Nadal has dominated the tournament, winning nine titles between 2005 and 2016.

Mutua Madrid Open
Formerly played on indoor hard courts before moving to outdoor clay in 2009, the Mutua Madrid Open is an ATP World Tour Masters 1000 Event.
Andy's triumph at the 2015 Madrid Open was his first professional clay-court title. In doing so, he became the third player to win the tournament on two different surfaces - having also won the hard court version in 2008.

Internazionali BNL D'Italia
The Internazionali BNL d'Italia or Italian Open is played on red clay courts. It is one of the most prestigious clay tournaments after the French Open.
The Italian Open has been won by Rafael Nadal a record seven times. In 2016 Andy beat Novak Djokovic in straight sets to clinch the title.

The French Open
The French Open is the second Gland Slam of the year, and the only Grand Slam to be played on clay.
With its high bouncing surface, it’s regarded as one of most physically challenging tournaments in Tennis.
In recent years the French Open has been dominated by Rafael Nadal, who has won nine of the last ten men’s singles finals.
Andy reached the final for the first time in 2016, finishing as runner-up to Novak Djokovic.

The Queens Club Championships
Serving as a warm-up for Wimbledon, the Queen’s Club Championships are one of the oldest and most prestigious grass court tennis tournaments in the world.
Andy has won the title in 2009, 2011, 2013, 2015 and 2016. When he won in 2016, he became the first man to win the tournament five times.

Wimbledon – as the Wimbledon Championships are universally known - is the third Gland Slam on the annual tennis calendar.
It’s the oldest tennis tournament in the world, and is the only major still played on grass.
In 2013 Andy became the first British man in 77 years to win the Wimbledon men’s singles title, when he beat Novak Djokovic in the final. He won the prestigious title again in 2016, with Milos Raonic the beaten finalist this time.

The Rogers Cup
The Rogers Cup – or Canadian Open – is one of the oldest tennis tournaments in the world. It’s played on hard courts and alternates each year between Toronto and Montreal.
Andy has won the title three times – in 2009, 2010 and then again in 2015. Other previous winners include Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic.

The Western and Southern Open
Also known as the Cincinnati Masters, The Western and Southern Open is an outdoor, hard court tournament. It is one of nine elite Masters 1000 tournaments on the ATP World Tour.
Andy has won the event twice, in 2008 and 2011. His 2008 victory here gave him his first ATP Masters 1000 title.

The US Open
The US Open is the fourth and final Gland Slam of the year.
The tournament is played on hard courts and, unlike the other Grand Slams, it has tiebreaks in every set – including the last set.
In 2012 Andy beat Novak Djokovic in the final, becoming the only British man to win the title in the Open era. Andy also won the US Open junior title in 2004.

Shanghai Rolex Masters
The Shanghai Masters is an outdoor, hard court tournament. It is the only ATP World Tour Masters 1000 tournament to be held outside Europe and the US.
Andy has won the tournament three times – in 2010, 2011 and most recently in 2016, when he beat Roberto Bautista Agut in straight sets.

BNP Paribas Masters
The BNP Paribas Masters in Paris is an indoor tournament, and the last ATP Masters 1000 event of the season. It's a crucial one too, as it's the final Masters event before the ATP World Tour Finals in London – and the last chance for players to clinch their place at that tournament.
Andy won the tournament for the first time in 2016, beating John Isner in the final.
